Meet the PIE Experts
Performance anxiety trainer and Motivation Coach
Pia Crul has worked as a teacher, mentor, team leader, and performance anxiety trainer for 30 years in secondary education. She has developed her own method which is described in two books: Lefgasten for young people and Lefgasten for students, both of which have been translated into English under the name Daredevils method. She prefers to replace the term "fear of failure" with "blocking stress".
For the last 9 years, she has worked independently and has given individual and group training to pupils, students, and adults who block in their studies, work or social life. As a registered trainer, she also gives study days and training to professionals who want to work with this method. Her method is evidence-based and is based on the principles of Rational Emotive Therapy and neuroplasticity. The effectiveness of the method is increased because parents are asked to read along so that active insight and recovery can arise for all parties.
